What does “Otso” mean?
Otso is a Finnish word meaning “the spirit of the bear” our friend, brother, and forest cousin. In Finnish mythology, Otso represents more than just the literal word for bear (which is Karhu, also the name of a well-known trainer brand!). Otso symbolizes inner strength, resilience, and the enduring power of nature. Each of our designs carries a quiet message inspired by this spirit, inviting reflection, connection, and a deeper bond with the outdoors.
What does the Otso logo represent?
If you take the time to look many of our designs have deeper messages and symbols within them, this idea started with our logo which has a bears face within it. Some people also say they can see a tree and a cocktail glass!
