Welcome to Otso

We are a clothing brand that embodies a deep connection to nature, symbolized by Otso, the spirit of the bear in folklore. We believe that genuine well-being originates not only from how you live but also from feeling good about what you wear and how it's made. That's why we prioritize high quality and sustainability in everything we do.

" Hi I'm Simon, I created the Otso brand back in 2015 - long before this little fella was born! I had a dream of producing a nature inspired fashion brand that could be both contemporary and socially responsible.

Having worked for over a decade as a Graphic Designer and having a love of the great outdoors, hiking and mountain biking, I wanted to enjoy creating T-shirt designs that reflect this. I believe that spending time in nature can help us connect with our own inner strength and resilience, and that being mindful of our impact on the environment can help us cultivate a greater sense of harmony and balance in our lives.

The ethos I've created through Otso also allows me to collaborate with other artists creatively whilst promoting ethical manufacturing standards and environmental issues both locally and globally."

Otso is in touch with the people of our planet. That’s why our garments are produced in India to FairWear ethical standards and then screen printed and finished locally by hand here in Slaithwaite, Huddersfield. This ensures families abroad are paid an honest living wage whilst also supporting other independent businesses closer to home.

We believe that sustainable fashion is about more than just using eco-friendly materials and processes. It's about creating clothes that are timeless, durable, and made to last. Our clothes are designed to be worn for years to come, and we believe that investing in quality clothing is an investment in the future.

"I hope you enjoy exploring our creations!"
